#RealTalk: My weight, body, and how I feel about myself takes up so much of my thought space. As long as I can remember it’s been an ongoing nagging dialogue in the back of my head. When you’re only 5’ tall (though my license says 5’1” 😉) and gain weight, there’s not a whole lot of room for that weight to spread out and distribute. But, we can all pinpoint something to complain about with our bodies, right? ⠀

My last 10 days in Florida were filled with BBG and pickleball with the fam and long walks with our dog. I mediated and got a massage and drank lots of hot lemon water. It was the most I’ve had exercise in over a year. BUT I also had rosé and champagne and reallyyy good pizza and oatmeal cake and sticky buns. ⠀

Mid-way through, I took this photo, in which I look so H A P P Y. I don’t want to claim that there’s such a thing as a perfect balance, because there’s not, but I do want to advocate for doing everything you can to feel your best (you run that half marathon and start meal prepping better!), without getting carried away and sacrificing everything that comes along with living fully. ⠀

2018. This year was full of taking risks and insecurities and trying to find balance and failing miserably. It was feeling one way, and then feeling completely different a week later. Ups and downs and curly Q’s. Anyone else?!⠀

BUT, it was also a year full of so many wonderful moments of hard work and positive progress in every aspect of life. There was also a whole lot of travel with friends and family time and moments spent dreaming up big things. I am so so thankful for each and every one of you who decide to follow along with my colorful craziness! Things are only just getting started over here… 😊🎉💓⠀
